Taya Valkyrie Reveals She Signed Two-Year Contract With IMPACT Wrestling In 2019
Taya Valkyrie will be with IMPACT Wrestling into 2021 according to a recent tweet from her.
There seemed to be some confusion around the expiration of Taya’s contract as PWInsider reported her deal had rolled over and would run through December 2020. Taya denied that her contract rolled over, saying she signed a two-year deal in 2019. She didn’t give a date on when in 2019 she signed a new contract. The earliest her current deal would expire is January 2021.
CLICK BAIT! Yo, I don’t know what a “roll over contract is” but that’s not what I signed. I signed for two years LAST YEARRRRRRR. Simple as that. Now stop writing bullshit about me. It’s F’ing annoying. And also my job and contracts are none of anyone’s business. https://t.co/5TcgwgKfOn

Konnan, who is Taya’s mentor and works backstage at IMPACT Wrestling, recently stated that he believes Taya’s contract is up in 10 months.
Fightful reached out to Taya for clarification on when her deal expires.
