Tatanka: WWE Contacted Me, But I Will Not Be Attending 1/23 WWE Raw Because I’ll Be Out Of Town

As announced during the January 16 episode, the “Raw is XXX” 30th anniversary show on January 23 will feature several legends. The Undertaker, Ric Flair, Shawn Michaels, Kurt Angle, The Bellas, Jerry “The King” Lawler, Teddy Long, Road Dogg, and X-Pac have all been advertised.
In a tweet on January 17, WWE legend Tatanka announced that, though the company contacted him five wees ago, he will not be in attendance. Instead, he will be out of town because he’ll be at the state championship competition to support his son and his wrestling team.

Tatanka had two runs in WWE; he first arrived in the 1990s and later returned in 2005. He memorably faced Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania IX, and he also spent some time as a member of the Million Dollar Corporation. During his second run, he feuded with MNM (Johnny Nitro & Joey Mercury). Over the years, Tatanka has made a few other appearances; he competed in the Andre the Giant memorial battle royal in 2016, and he also appeared on he “Legends Night” of of Raw in January 2021.
