Tanner Saraceno Says He Partied With Chris Jericho, Says Lita Helped Him On Tough Enough

Tanner Saraceno is looking to re-emerge on the national scene three years after WWE Tough Enough, but in the MMA world.

The two winners in Sara Lee and Josh Bredl have both been cut from WWE’s roster and in all, over a half-dozen names from Tough Enough 2015 were signed, with many already making WWE’s main roster. Tanner Saraceno wasn’t one of them. Instead, he had his tenth professional MMA fight last week at LFA 49 and has quickly developed into a legit MMA prospect.

Even though he didn’t end up in WWE after the show, Saraceno tells Fightful.com that he looks back on the experience fondly and gained a lot of positive experience while there.

“Billy Gunn was great, athletically. Chris Jericho was one, I actually partied with him until like 2 AM one night. We were drinking, sharing a lot of stories, having a great time. Lita actually talked to me on the side a couple of times. She helped me through some sports psychology sort of things. Helped me realize some things about myself and helped me with things while I was on the show. She gave me some insight on how I could use what I’ve done and what I was feeling to help me in my career. I had a lot of help from people on that show,” said Saraceno.

Saraceno says WWE made it clear that they weren’t interested in bringing him in at the conclusion of the show, prompting him to make the move to MMA. He’s not the only Tough Enough alumni to compete in MMA, as season four winner Daniel Puder returned to MMA and Nick Mitchell had an ill-fated run.
