Tama Tonga Says Gallows & Anderson Are Still In Bullet Club | Exclusive

Blood in, Blood out for Bullet Club

We’ve seen a lot of turnover in the New Japan faction over their six years of existence. Megastars from around the world such as Finn Balor, AJ Styles, Kenny Omega, Hangman Page, Cody, Young Bucks, Adam Cole and others have been in the group at some point, with some leaving more violently than others.

Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows famously left New Japan Pro Wrestling in 2016 to join AJ Styles in WWE, where they’d reform “The Club,” an offshoot. However, upon his exit, Styles was beaten out of Bullet Club, while Anderson and Gallows quietly departed the company.

That begs the question — are they still in? Founding member Tama Tonga cleared the air.

“Is that a question? Of course they are. They never got booted like other people. You blood in, blood out and a lot of people got blood out. Still in, man. They still in 100%. Good brothers in. C’mon, that’s the core four right there,” Tama Tonga exclaimed.

So led to a follow up question — is everyone who hasn’t been “booted” still in Bullet Club? How about Scott D’Amore? He showed up in a Bullet Club shirt here and there, and he helped hire Anderson & Gallows to IMPACT.

“Scott D’Amore is an honorary member!,” Tonga laughed. “I thought I made that clear. We got honorary members, alright? But, they never really got kicked in. Some are just there.”

Maybe that could lead to some honorary beatdowns.

“You think? “Yeah, c’mere, let me show you right quick,” Tonga closed, implying how he’d make that happen.

As of now, Bullet Club is strong, with Tonga, Kena, Evil, “Switchblade” Jay White…and apparently Gallows & Anderson.

You can see Tama Tonga and dozens of other New Japan stars every Friday night at 10 PM EST on NJPW Strong, airing on New Japan World. You can check out our full interview with Tama Tonga above!
