Tama Tonga lost in his final NJPW bout at NJPW New Beginning in Sapporo, falling victim to God Send courtesy of Hikuleo.
Tama’s final bout was an all-Guerrillas of Destiny match as he teamed with Tanga Loa to face Hikuleo & El Phantasmo. Jado served as the referee for the bout.

Tama announced after NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 18 that January would be his final month in NJPW and he was moving to be closer to his family. He finished out his dates in February with the company.
Tama made his NJPW debut in 2010 and collected titles in the singles and tag team divisions. He is a four-time NEVER Openweight Champion and and seven-time IWGP Tag Team Champion. He was part of the original Bullet Club group.
