Tama Tonga Captures NEVER Openweight Title At NJPW Destruction In Ryogoku

Tama Tonga gains back the NEVER Openweight Championship. 

Tama Tonga is once again the NEVER Openweight Champion, defeating David Finlay at NJPW Destrution in Ryogoku to win the title. 

The finish saw Tama hit the DSD for the victory.

This marks the third reign as NEVER Openweight Champion for Tama Tonga. David Finlay’s reign ends at 159 days. He won the title from Tonga at NJPW Wrestling Dontaku. He made one successful title defense during his reign.
