All Elite Wrestling and New Japan Pro Wrestling have built a strong relationship in recent years. Multiple crossover matches led to the two companies holding the AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door pay-per-view in 2022. They will team up again for Forbidden Door 2 on June 25.

This summer, AEW will also be gearing up for AEW All In London at Wembley Stadium. The show will mark AEW’s debut in the United Kingdom, and it marks a major step for the company, as Wembley Stadium seats 90,000 fans. AEW is widely expected to go all out in its effort to a deliver a special show and pack the venue.

In an interview with Reuters, AEW CEO Tony Khan noted that 65,000 tickets have already been sold. He stated that it would be a “huge benefit” to the company if NJPW is part of the show.

“It would be a huge benefit to AEW if there is participation from New Japan Pro Wrestling and some of their top stars in the event,” Khan said.

NJPW President Takami Ohbari was also interviewed, and he highlighted the way the two companies working together is mutually beneficial. He also stated that NJPW would consider sending talent for the Wembley Stadium event “if there was an offer.”
