Taichi Wins KOPW Title From SHO At NJPW New Japan Road
Taichi regains the title.
Taichi recaptured the NJPW King of Pro Wrestling Title from SHO on November 17 at New Japan Road.
As per the stipuation, Yoshinobu Kanemaru was the special guest referee for the match. However, he was knocked out during the contest and another referee came down to count the pinfall after Taichi hit the Last Ride.
The person who holds the NJPW KOPW Title at the end of the year is crowned the King of Pro Wrestling.

Shingo Takagi is the reigning KOPW Champion as he held the title as 2022 came to a close.
SHO, who defeated Taichi to win the title, made zero successful title defenses.
