Tag Team Match Set For 2/24 IMPACT Wrestling
The first match for the February 24 episode of IMPACT Wrestling has been made.
At IMPACT No Surrender, Jake Something defeated Ace Austin, Mike Bailey, and Chris Bey in a four-way match to determine the new number one contender for the X-Division Championship. Austin and Madman Fulton confronted Jake Something and X-Division Champion Trey Miguel backstage after the bout, saying that Jake got lucky and that in a one-on-one match he loses every time. This led to Trey laying out the challenge for a tag team match this Thursday on IMPACT.
Later on, Austin approached ‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey, with whom he continues to pursue a friendship. He asked Bailey to be his partner in the match, emphasizing the importance of having the right people in his corner. After Bailey declined, Ace told Bailey that neither Trey nor Jake respect him, prompting Bailey to accept his offer.
