TAELER: The Next Chapter For Rachael Ellering
Former WWE NXT Star Rachael Ellering took to Twitter announcing the beginning of the next chapter in her evolving career – All Elite Wrestling. Rachael Ellering, the daughter of WWE Pro Wrestler and Manager Paul Ellering, has been slowly making her own way in the business while cultivating an impressive level of success and respect over the last few years. Building a reputation of technical wrestling, explosive strength, and mental toughness Ellering quickly gained exposure in the Pro Wrestling Industry with appearances on the Independents, Impact Wrestling, two Mae Young Classic Tournaments and now her upcoming debut on AEW Dark.
Oh y’all forgot about me?
Next week is the first step in reproving myself. Proving that just because I was hidden away in a warehouse for a hot minute doesn’t mean I’ve lost what I had before.
I can’t wait to earn back your support and trust. Let’s start the next chapter — pic.twitter.com/237Pd47UTa

Its been my experience that there’s very few as dedicated to the craft with as much enthusiasm as Rachael Ellering. I first met Rachael Ellering at our mutual WWE Tryout back in 2015. In the years that have followed, I’ve seen her make her own name for herself through work ethic, training, attitude, and consistently good in ring work wherever she goes. Originally from Minnesota, Ellering took to Canada to train with Lance Storm shortly after the WWE Tryout. Her powerlifting and strength training background are prominently featured in her diverse toolbelt so to speak making her a pretty versatile Pro Wrestler. Having been in the ring with Rachael Ellering, I can attest to her passion and skill. Rachael’s movements are fluid with very little wasted motion making her stamina tough to beat. Her in ring psychology is top notch as she reads her opponents and studies their matches.
Ellering’s announcement on Twitter was a welcomed surprise amongst fans on social media. This will be Ellering’s first televised appearance since leaving the WWE earlier this year amidst the Covid 19 budget releases. She’ll be going toe to toe with a woman on the rise in AEW – Penelope Ford. Ford as I’ve mentioned before has been on the rise and growing into her her fullest potential as a Superstar since signing with AEW. What she originally lacked in experience, she more than made up for with grit and tenacity. The more you see her the more its apparent that she has “it.” Penelope’s exciting and explosive in ring style will make for a very interesting debut for Rachael Ellering.
Penelope Ford, recently in my opinion, had one of the best matches of her career at Fyter Fest against Champion Hiraku Shida. If I was TNA or WWE, I’d have my eye on Penelope Ford. She has the ability to be a top star anywhere including the AEW Women’s Division. With that said, this is the perfect opportunity for Rachael Ellering as she embraces the next chapter in her career by facing one of the more prominently featured in ring competitors in the AEW. The two will square off on AEW Dark this Tuesday 7/6c.
A great opportunity for both ladies! The differences in style will be fun to watch especially with both ladies having their own unique axes to grind but with the same goal in mind – being champion. I’m very curious to see both women’s strategies and evolving game plans as the match unfolds. Ellering is a smart competitor and will narrow in on any vulnerability she finds. If I was Ellering, I’d be targeting either targeting Penelope Ford’s legs or lower back to keep her grounded in the hopes of keeping her demobilized since Ford is known for possessing some impressive high flying abilities as well as immense flexibility. Additiinal follow up, I’d also have an eye on Kip Sabian in Ford’s corner.
However, on the flip side, if I was Penelope Ford, my gameplan would be similar in tactic since Rachael Ellering being the tough wan she is, is freshly rehabbed from a torn ACL injury suffered at WWE. Add on top of that her strength, I’d target her back and legs as well. We shall see what these ladies do when they face off. Rachael Ellering excitedly approaches the newest chapter in her career and will have her hands full against Penelope Ford who will be accompanied by Kip Sabian. This is an opportunity Rachael Ellering has been waiting for. There’s still so much the industry hasn’t seen, that Ellering is capable of. This will be her chance to start proving all that she can do, this Tuesday on AEW Dark! Here’s to the the next chapter!
