TAELER: Lana Aims For The Raw Womens Championship In 2021!

Kicking off 2021, WWE’s Lana took to her Twitter with a projection of where her sights are aimed for this new year. As is often said a goal without a plan is just a pipe dream. A dream without hard work is just empty words. Words that don’t match actions are the idle hands of the devil’s workshop. Lana has put out into the WWE Universe that her major goal is to win the WWE Raw Women’s Championship Title. A title with immense history, respect, and importance. A worthy achievement indeed. A Cinderella story unlike any other currently possessed by The WWE…

Imagine in 2021 the return of Becky Lynch. Riott Squad as Tag Team Champions. And Lana finally climbing her way tooth and nail up the mountain and finally doing what everyone for years said she could never amount to? Amazing T.V potential this year. WWE has within their grasp the fine workings of the ultimate ‘David Vs. Goliath’ comeback. There’s plenty of obstacles with which to tug at the proverbial heartstrings of the WWE Universe.

Asuka wrestled more matches than any other female signed to WWE. Add onto that the return of Charlotte Flair. A huge blow dealt to Lana at the hands of Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax. The perfect bully characters needed to create what seemed like insurmountable adversity. Not to mention the chip on Baszler’s shoulder after a key loss to Becky Lynch which initially started a several month decline for Shayna Baszler on the main roster. Redemption for her wouldn’t come until her genius pairing with Nia Jax. If you remain completely objective there’s so much going right right now in the WWE Women’s Divisions. Only thing I’d love to add is more Naomi and something more noteworthy for Natalya and Dana Brooke. Both Nattie and Dana Brooke are classic examples of start and stop pushes that damage a Superstar in the eyes of the fans. A point thoroughly discussed by Dana Brooke herself on Chasing Glory with Lilian Garcia.

Everything going with Sasha Banks, Bianca Belair, Carmella and Bayley is headed very well. The subtle rising of The Riott Squad and Sexy Muscle friends. The return of Sonya Deville. The new Champions Asuka and Flair. The potential for Becky Lynch to return. Bianca Belair being more prominently featured on the main roster. The time is ripe. Lana making a slow but impressive comeback with the caliber of the talent signed to WWE is an impeccably exemplary example of good writing evolving over an influential span of time.

Lana has been training. She’s been studying. She’s lost. Paid her dues. Put her passion in. She’s doing the work. And I wholeheartedly believe that after her episode on the WWE Chronicle, her key Survivor Series win, her wins on Raw, getting thrown through tables, and subsequently being taken out by the very bullys she finally beat makes for a potentially ultimate year in the career of Lana. Also adding even more legitimacy to the storylines that appeal to the WWE Universe. However, to me, one thing is definitely certain, Lana’s projected goal has never been more within her reach than it is this year. We’ll see what happens as 2021 starts revving its engines harder and faster leaving 2020 to eat its dust…
