On the May 1 episode of AEW Dynamite, Christian Cage returned, as he was revealed as AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland’s challenger at AEW Double or Nothing. Cage and The Patriarchy attacked Strickland, and no one helped the champion.
Strickland responded on the May 1 episode of AEW Rampage, as he said they would talk the following week. Swerve said that he would not be alone for the showdown.

Plus, Mariah May will face Harley Cameron in a singles match. On the May 1 episode of AEW Rampage, Saraya and Cameron insulted May as they criticized her for her performance against Serena Deeb on AEW Dynamite.
Additionally, fans will hear from Serena Deeb following the announcement that she will challenge Toni Storm for the AEW Women’s World Championship at AEW Double or Nothing.
