RUSH and Swerve Strickland are set to clash in an AEW Continental Classic Gold league match on the December 20 episode of AEW Dynamite. RUSH took to Twitter/X and shared a clip of their previous match in MLW. He noted that Strickland had grown a lot, but he would remind Swerve that he was still a child. RUSH wrote that he would show the world who the real superstar was.
Strickland responded by saying that RUSH was wrong to think he could man-handle him on this stage in AEW. He stated that RUSH had not been where he had been or done what he had done. Swerve then poked fun at RUSH’s nickname of “El Toro Blanco” as he vowed to turn the bull into bullshit on AEW Dynamite.
You think you can man handle me like that on THIS stage in @aew? Wrong.
You aint been to where I’ve been and done what I’ve done. Wed, I turn the bull into bullshit https://t.co/k2yiolPC0R— The Realest Swerve Strickland (@swerveconfident) December 17, 2023
RUSH responded by saying that Strickland was right, as he had not been to the same places or done the same things. He wrote that he has been to worse places and done more than Strickland ever has. RUSH pointed out that he had done all of that without speaking English. He stated that he was Strickland’s new nightmare.
You are right, i’ve never been where you have been or done what you have done.
I have been to worst places, more violent environments and I have DONE MORE THAN YOU EVER HAVE without even speaking English.
I am your new fucking nightmare PERRO. See you at #AEWDYNAMITE https://t.co/UKfmJhNeRI
