Swerve Strickland Applies Big Pressure To Dustin Rhodes In Victory At AEW Worlds End
Swerve Strickland sends a message to Keith Lee.
Swerve Strickland defeated Dustin Rhodes at AEW Worlds End in a match that was made official just before the pay-per-view went on air.
Swerve picked up the victory after a double stomp off the top.
Before the match started, Swerve attacked Dustin and smashed a cinder block with a stomp on his knee. Dustin was attended to by officials, but decided to go forward with the match. Rhodes has his moments in the bout, but the pre-match attack was too much for him to overcome.

The match was originally set to be Swerve against Keith Lee, but Lee revealed hours before the pay-per-view that he had been working through an injury since September 2022 and it had gotten worse since ROH Final Battle on December 15. Moments later it was announced that Lee was not medically cleared and that Rhodes would be his replacement.
