Street Fight Tag Title Match, United States Title Match Set For 9/12 Smackdown Live
The Usos vs. New Day saga will continue, but with a twist next week.
New Day will get another opportunity at the Smackdown Tag Team Championships next week against their rivals Jimmy and Jey Uso on the September 12 edition of Smackdown Live from Las Vegas, Nevada. In a backstage segment that also included Smackdown General Manager Daniel Bryan, The Usos announced that their stipulation of choice was a Las Vegas Street Fight.
The duo gained the ability to name the stipulation during their victory on last week's Smackdown Live over the Usos. The two teams have traded the championships back and forth over recent months, with the Usos winning the titles at Summerslam last month.
New Day will look to capture the titles for their fourth tag team title reign, which includes their record-holding reign that ended last year at 483 days. The Usos are in their fourth WWE tag title reign, not including an FCW title win before they hit the WWE main roster.
Also added to next week's episode of Smackdown is a United States Championship rematch between champion AJ Styles and Tye Dillinger.
Fightful.com will have full, live coverage of the September 12 edition of Smackdown Live, including a post-show podcast that will take place immediately following the Mae Young Classic Finals from Las Vegas, Nevada.
