“Straight Up Steve Austin” Stays At Above One Million Viewers For Second Episode

Although viewership for the second episode of Steve Austin’s new show dropped from its season premiere, more than a million people still stayed up and watched it.

According to Showbuzz Daily, the second episode of “Straight Up Steve Austin” averaged 1.078 million viewers with a 0.41 rating in the 18-49 demographic, good for 10th on cable. Both numbers are down from the season premiere on August 12, which averaged 1.211 million viewers and drew a 0.49 rating in the 18-49 demographic, which was seventh best on cable for that day.

The show airs immediately after Monday Night Raw goes off the air and viewership for Raw this week was also down from the week prior as the August 19 show as it was going head-to-head with an NFL preseason game between the San Francisco 49ers and Denver Broncos. Monday Night Raw this week averaged 2.534 million viewers.

While the first episode featured comedian and actor Rob Riggle as Austin’s guest, the second episode featured comedian Sal Vulcano. The guest for the August 26 is Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield.
