Steve Maclin confirms that his contract is up in May.
Steve Maclin joined TNA (then known as IMPACT Wrestling) in June 2021. Since he joined the company, he has risen up the ranks, and he won the world title in 2023. Maclin remains a featured member of the roster, as he recently aligned with The Rascalz (Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz). Fightful recently reported that Steve Maclin’s contract is up in May.
In an interview with Bill Pritchard of WrestleZone, Steve Maclin was asked to comment on the report and his mindset about his contract.
“I know my deal’s up in May with TNA. I would love to stay. I’ve let management know that I’ve been enjoying my time here and loving my time here. But it’s one of those things where if it’s gonna come down to a choice on what’s going to be best for me and my family. So right now, I am focused more or less on just this Friday in Windsor. I’m taking it one match at a time, but I know that I have a lot to prove as well for them to come back at me with an offer to stay, so that’s on me,” Maclin said.
Fightful will provide more information about Steve Maclin’s contract as it becomes available.
Steve Maclin is set to face Nic Nemeth at TNA Sacrifice. Fightful will have live coverage of the show as it airs on March 8.
