Steve Austin And Chris Jericho Offer High Praise For Women’s Wrestling In WWE
High praise from Steve Austin and Chris Jericho.
During last night’s WWE Survivor Series event, Charlotte Flair snapped on Ronda Rousey, unleashing an epic beatdown that pleased the live crowd. Ronda and Charlotte were having a great match up until that point and the disqualification finish, along with the post-match attack, added more heat between the two ladies.
When the segment was over, WWE Hall of Famer Steve Austin took to social media to offer his thoughts.
Finally-Professional Wrestling is back. @RondaRousey and @MsCharlotteWWE ripped it up at #SurvivorSeries. That was a good F’n match. @WWE

Charlotte and Ronda entered the match with the crowd cheering for Becky Lynch, who had to be pulled from the bout after suffering a broken nose and severe concussion on Monday.
Charlotte was hot off her feud with Lynch and has been jeered by audiences despite WWE’s best efforts to portray her as the babyface. WWE finally got the reaction they wanted for Charlotte as she received a massive ovation for attacking Rousey and referees. Meanwhile, Rousey was booed despite refusing medical attention and walking out under her own power.
Chris Jericho also commented on how the women have been booked over the last week.
Congrats @wwe for making womens wrestling hottest thing in #WWE! Who’s headlining #Wrestlemania? @BeckyLynchWWE @RondaRousey #Nia #Charlotte

Nia Jax received major heat from the live crowd as it was her punch that forced Lynch off the Survivor Series card. Jax ended up being the sole survivor in the women’s Survivor Series elimination bout.
