SRS Toronto Video Blog! Walk-Offs, List And Ya Boy, More
I had the good fortune of visiting Toronto last week, and it's a trip I'll never forget.
I've never taken my job for granted, but any chance of it happening is virtually nonexistent after experiencing the hospitality from Jimmy Van and his team. My wife and I had a great time taking in a Blue Jays game with them, going out after (thanks for the tab, JV), and getting to know so many different people from different backgrounds that do different things.
You'll often hear me say I'm not much of a traveler, and a city of that size was uncharted territory and a big change of pace for me, but everyone was so welcoming that outside of a few "oohs" "aahs" and "GOD DAMN THAT'S EXPENSIVE HERE," I felt like I'd been there for years.
We were lucky enough to see a walk-off grand slam, I got to film a live podcast, and I finally came face-to-face with those who work hard — including financially — at making up Fightful.com.
Not like it needed to, but Toronto and its people won me over.
I produced a vlog (and it's a messy one) of my experience. I hope you all enjoy, and I hope MLB Advanced Media doesn't pull it.
