‘Spyder’ Nate Webb Announces He’s Stepping Away From Wrestling
One of the staples of independent wrestling for nearly 20 years, Nate Webb has announced that he is stepping away indefinitely from active competition.
Mostly known for his time in Deathmatch wrestling promotions like IWA Mid-South, Combat Zone Wrestling, and Game Changer Wrestling, Nate Webb has stated on Twitter that he has reached a point in his life where his mind, body, and spirit, have taken so much damage that he feels it is best for him to step away from active competition indefinitely.
My body, mind, and soul are beaten down to an extreme extent. I am stepping away from active wrestling indefinitely. Thank you to everyone that has kept me going for so long! I love you all and hope to get back to normal. Much love and bless you all!

Nate Webb was also a part of MTV’s short-lived wrestling program, Wrestling Society X. Above all else, Nate Webb may best be known for his theme song, Teenage Dirtbag by Wheatus. The band actually played web to the ring live at Joey Janela’s Lost in New York in 2018, you can see that entrance in the video above.
Nate Webb may have never made it to WWE but brought great enjoyment to fans of independent wrestling and for that, he has proven to be much more than just a Teenage Dirtbag.
