MLW Middleweight Title Changes Hands On 3/3 MLW FUSION, Bandido Debuts
There was a title change on the March 3 MLW FUSION
On January 12, MLW announced that Tajiri would be defending the MLW World Middleweight Championship against Myron Reed and a mystery opponent in a triple threat match at MLW Blood & Thunder on January 21. Tajiri won the championship from Reed in a four-way bout that also included Aramis and Arez at MLW Fightland.
On the March 3 episode of MLW Fusion, Ring of Honor Champion Bandido was revealed to be the third participant in the match with Matt Criss making it a Four-Way. This was his official MLW debut. Despite that, it was Reed who would score the victory, capturing the title for the third time in his career. Tajiri’s reign with the belt ends after 111 days.
