– William Regal announces Shinsuke Nakamura will take on Samoa Joe in the main event of NXT Takeover: Back to Brooklyn
* Billie Kay defeated Santana Garrett after big boot in about three minutes.
* TM61 defeated Adrian Nails & Rob Rising
* No Way Jose defeats Steve Cutler in a two minute match.
* Kota Ibushi defeats Murphy
– Samoa Joe comes out and says since Regal didn’t consult him, he won’t face the undeserving Nakamura. Nakamura and Joe have a face off to end the show.
Taped for August 3:
* Hideo Itami defeated Sean Mulata
– Bayley is interviewed in the back and says she has to adapt. Asuka shows up and challenges her
* Asuka defeated Aliyah with Bayley on commentary. Asuka wouldn’t break the rear-naked choke and heeled during the match.
– Bobby Roode comes out and cut a promo about replacing fans. He says NXT needs him to expand and become global.
* The Revival defeat TM61. Gargano & Ciampa interrupt a promo from Revival, and it looks like they have a match in Brooklyn
* Mojo Rawley vs. Chris Atkins went to a no contest when Samoa Joe attacked both of them.
Taped for August 10:
– William Regal brings out Bayley and Asuka for a contract signing. Bayley offers a handshake, but Asuka refuses. Bayley says Asuka may end up laid out like during her last signing, then slaps Asuka’s hand away and stares her down.
* Authors of Pain with Paul Ellering defeated Adrian Nails & Rob Rising. TM61 save the jobbers after, but get laid out, and then American Alpha make the save.
* Andrade “Cien” Almas defeats Angelo Dawkins. Bobby Roode comes out and heels Almas, telling him they’ll face off at NXT Takeover.
* Billie Kay defeated Liv Morgan
* Gargano & Ciampa defeated Patrick Clark and Tucker Knight
* Hideo Itami defeated Mustafa Ali
* Carmella, Nikki Glencross & Liv Morgan defeated Daria, Alexa Bliss & Mandy Rose
* Samoa Joe defeats Mojo Rawley. Nakamura comes out and he and Joe are kept apart by officials.
