Spoiler – 2019 NJPW Super J-Cup Winner Crowned
2019 Super J-Cup Champion crowned.
On Sunday night at the Walter Pyramid in Long Beach, CA, El Phantasmo defeated Dragon Lee in the finals to win the 2019 NJPW Super J-Cup. The final bout of the night was set-up in the opening two contests as Dragon Lee knocked off Caristico in his semifinal bout while ELP, with a little help from Taiji Ishimori, bested Will Ospreay in the other semifinal contest.
After his victory over Lee, Phantasmo challenged Jushin Thunder Liger to a match at the Tokyo Dome. Liger is set to retire following one last match in the Tokyo Dome as part of Wrestle Kingdom 14.
