In other NJPW Capital Collision news, Will Ospreay issued a four-way challenge for the IWGP United States Championship, challenging reigning champion Hiroshi Tanahashi, Jon Moxley, and Juice Robinson.
Moxley called out Tanahashi at NJPW Windy City Riot after defeating Ospreay. Ospreay was originally set to face Tanahashi at NJPW Wrestling Dontaku for the vacant IWGP US Title, but Ospreay missed the event due to COVID. Tanahashi would defeat Tomohiro Ishii for the title and was attacked by Juice Robinson after the match.
The bout has not been made official.
