Sonya Deville Suffers Torn ACL, Out Indefinitely

Sonya Deville is sidelined. 

According to TMZ, Sonya Deville suffered a torn ACL that will require surgery. She is set to undergo a procedure for the injury on Tuesday. She is reportedly out indefinitely. 

Fightful has confirmed the report. 

The injury occurred on the July 28 episode of WWE SmackDown where Sonya teamed with Chelsea Green in a loss to Charlotte Flair & Bianca Belair.

Deville & Green are the reigning WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. It is unknown what will happen with the championships with Deville being injured. Past champions have relinquished the titles when one member of the team is injured or the healthy partner has been able to find a replacement to defend the titles.
