Solo Sikoa Was Hoping He Wouldn’t Be An Uso On WWE Main Roster, Established Himself As Solo

Solo Sikoa put in work on his own.

Though Solo is the brother of Jimmy & Jey Uso, he entered the NXT world as Solo Sikoa while Jimmy & Jey were on the main roster and part of The Bloodline. Solo established himself away from his family in NXT before joining the group at WWE Clash at the Castle when he helped Roman Reigns retain the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Drew McIntyre.

Speaking to Louis Dangoor of Give Me Sport, Solo was asked if there were concerns that he would change his name and become another Uso on the main roster.

“That was one of the things that was messing with me. I was thinking about and was like, ‘I hope I’m not doing all this hard work in NXT, I’m establishing who I am and building my character, how I look and how I am.’ I’m different from my brothers. I got the blonde hair. Solo has really grown on me. ‘I hope they don’t change me as an Uso.’ It’s such an easy transition to go back. I took time to perfect my craft as Solo. It’s an easy transition if they wanted me to go back or be another Uso,” he said.

In May, the Usos spoke to WWE After The Bell and commented that they wanted Solo to do his own things and to keep evolving. You can find their full comments by clicking here.

Solo is now a member of The Bloodline with Roman Reigns, the Usos, Paul Heyman, and Sami Zayn.
