Solo Sikoa Coming Soon, Harland Attacks Tommaso Ciampa, Tony D’Angelo Kidnaps A Man | Fight Size

Here is your post-NXT fight size update for Tuesday, October 12, 2021.

– Tommaso Ciampa defeated Joe Gacy in the opening bout of the night, ensuring that his Championship defence at Halloween Havoc is not a Triple Threat Match. On his way to the back, Ciampa was attacked by Harland, who had been sitting in the stands and watching the match. He proceeded to choke Gacy, but Joe stroked his face and Harland ran away. It’s unclear where he went.

– Toxic Attraction made their way to the ring and reiterated how they all want to have gold around their waists. Mandy Rose challenged Raquel Gonzalez to an NXT Women’s Championship match while Jacy Jayne and Gigi Dolin challenged Io Shirai and Zoey Stark to an NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship match.

A brief tease played, with a voice saying “I will bury the past so I can start again.” Whoever it is will be appearing at Halloween Havoc on October 26.

– Grizzled Young Veterans approached Tommaso Ciampa backstage and were getting confrontational until Bron Breakker intervened. He said that he has Tommaso’s back because he wants to face him at Halloween Havoc at 100%. They will team up next week to face the Grizzled Young Veterans.

– Diamond Mine’s Ivy Nile won her debut match on NXT 2.0, defeating Valentina Feroz.

– Ikemen Jiro then came out and confronted Diamond Mine, hitting Julius Creed with a cheap shot. They would end up having a match, with Creed picking up the victory. Diamond Mine assaulted Jiro after the bout which brought out a returning Kushida, but even he was unable to overcome the numbers advantage.

– Raquel Gonzalez accepted Mandy Rose’s match request, but with one condition, it’ll be Spin The Wheel, Make The Deal.

– Kyle O’Reilly and Von Wagner were able to pick up the win over Pete Dunne and Ridge Holland.

In the latest Andre Chase U lesson, he explained why Odyssey Jones lost last week and threw a student out of class after he suggested that Chase’s interference should have resulted in a disqualification. Chase will face Jones in a match next week.

– Tony D’Angelo seemingly kidnaped Lashing Out with Lash Legend producer Mark after he denied the NXT Superstar a spot on this week’s show.

– Duke Hudson defeated Grayson Waller in singles action. Backstage, Waller introduced Cameron Grimes to the world of online dating.

– After Indi Hartwell and Persia Pirotta won their tag bout, they too challenged the tag champions to a title match. This brought out the champs and Toxic Attraction. After a brawl broke out, a triple threat match for the belts was booked for Halloween Havoc.

– Isaiah “Swerve” Scott defeated Santos Escobar in the main event to retain the NXT North American Championship. Scott exacted a modicum of revenge on the Legado leader after he and his group kidnaped B-FAB and Top Dolla before NXT went on the air.

After the bell, Carmelo Hayes cashed in his championship opportunity contract (earned by winning the Breakout Tournament) and pinned Swerve to become the new NXT North American Champion.

– A vignette aired ahead of the main event teasing Solo Sikoa. In the video (seen above), he says that he’s been on his own since he was young and that is why he is called Solo. He adds that he was the street champion of the island. No debut date was given.

Solo (real name Sefa Fatu) is the son of Rikishi and the brother of Jimmy and Jey Uso.
