Smith Hart Passes Away

Unfortunate news today, as Smith Hart has passed away. 

A member of the legendary Hart wrestling family, Smith passed away at the age of 68 on Sunday after a battle with prostate cancer. Smith had entered hospice care about one month prior.

Davey Boy Smith Jr. posted a heartfelt message in honor of his uncle.

Smith, a 2016 inductee in the Canadian Wrestling Hall of Fame, also captured the WWC Caribbean Tag Team Championships with his brother Bret in 1978. Smith would make a couple of appearances for WWE over the years as well. Hart competed as recently as 2013 at a PWA event in Lefroy, Canada.
