SmackDown Viewership Sees Slight Increase For Tape Delayed Episode On 5/9
Last night's taped London edition of SmackDown, which featured an impromptu main event of Randy Orton, AJ Styles, and Sami Zayn vs. Jinder Mahal, Kevin Owens, and Baron Corbin, drew 2.348 million viewers, according to Show Buzz Daily. This is a slight increase over the 2017-low mark of 2.300 million viewers that watched last weeks episode.
SmackDown managed to crack the Top Ten on cable last night, but just barely. It was #10 in viewership, behind the NBA Playoffs on TNT, Inside The NBA, Rachel Maddow, Tucker Carlson, Hannity, The Story, The Five, All In and Special Report. SmackDown did manage to come in at #3 in the 18-49 demographic, trailing only the NBA game and Inside The NBA.
By comparison, Monday's RAW drew 2.696 million viewers, which is a new low for 2017, and the lowest since the Halloween episode of 2016.
