SmackDown Viewership Holds Steady As Blue Brand Progresses Toward Hell In A Cell
Last night's episode of SmackDown Live, featuring an impromptu main event of Sami Zayn vs. Kevin Owens, drew 2.542 million viewers, according to ShowBuzz Daily. This is a 1.3% increase over the 2.510 million viewers that watched last week's show. The episode featured many storylines building to the SmackDown-exclusive PPV Hell in a Cell, which takes place on October 8
SmackDown claimed the #4 spot in total viewership on cable last night, behind Hannity, Rachel Maddow and Tucker Carlson. It was #2 in the highly coveted 18-49 demographic, behind only American Horror Story.
For reference, Monday's RAW drew 2.923 million viewers, about 13% more than SmackDown.
