Simon Grimm vs. Project M.O.N.I.X Set For “I Respect You” Match For Zelo Pro In April

A year-plus long feud will culminate in April.

As reported on Fightful Select this afternoon, Kristen Ashly learned that WWE veteran Simon Gotch — now Simon Grimm — is set to compete on Zelo Pro Wrestling’s Wrestling On Weed Street show next month. He’ll be taking on a familiar foe in Project M.O.N.I.X, also known as Pat Monix. The two will up the stakes in an “I Respect You” match.

The two have crossed paths repeatedly over the past year. At Arrival in April 2018, both men were on the short end of a match that Gringo Loco ended up winning. In August at the Zelo Pro One Year Anniversary show, Grimm defeated Monix — as he would in a three way in December at a FEST show in Florida. Monix and Grimm went to a no contest in their tables match at Milwaukee Meltdown back in January. Monix hasn’t been completely shut out, though — his team won an elimination tag match against one led by Grimm at October’s Halloween Survival event.

Zelo Pro Wrestling’s “Wrestling On Weed Street” takes place Sunday, April 28 from Joe’s on Weed Street in Chicago, Illinois.
