Shotzi Blackheart Says She Meant No Offense To Chris Jericho With Tweet About Blood & Guts
Shotzi Blackheart is setting the record straight regarding her playful tweet about Chris Jericho’s show-closing bump from this past May’s Blood & Guts.
AEW presented Blood & Guts, an answer to WarGames, this past May with a brutal 5-on-5 featuring The Inner Circle and The Pinnacle. The end of the match would see Chris Jericho take a bump from off of the cage through an obviously planted crash pad. Following this, the internet would take over with several memes trying to make light of the situation.
One person who tweeted about the fall was WWE Superstar Shotzi Blackheart. She tweeted a gif of a young woman falling softly onto a bed with no caption. Now, she is clarifying that she never meant any malice with the tweet. She was just trying to adopt an attitude of “laugh and move on.”

Speaking with talkSPORT, Blackheart stated that it was just a GIF and she was just having fun.
“I meant no offense to Chris Jericho,” Shotzi clearly stated. “I thought, honestly, the match was great. But, you know what… like, take a joke, Take a joke, bud! [laughs]. It’s just a GIF. Laugh at it and move on. It’s live TV. Things happen, it’s pro wrestling. Don’t take life too seriously is all I have to say.”
Chris Jericho called the bump one of the legitimate scariest moments of his life and said he wasn’t looking forward to taking the fall so of course precautions were taken. Learn more here.
