Shota Umino Returns To NJPW At NJPW Windy City Riot
Shooter is back.
Shota Umino answered Jay White’s US of Jay Open Challenge at NJPW Windy City Riot, marking his official return to NJPW following excursion.
Umino has not competed for NJPW since 2019 when he participated in the Young Lion Cup. After he finished with the Young Lion Cup, he went on excursion to Revolution Pro Wrestling in England.
White was victorious in the bout, finishing Umino off with the Bladerunner.
Jon Moxley, who took Shota under his wing during his time in Japan before the pandemic, appeared in the pre-match video to announce Shota as the challenger for White.
