SHO Presents Smartest Rules Ever For KOPW Title Match Against Taichi
Taichi and SHO are set to clash for the King of Pro Wrestling Championship at NJPW Road to Destruction on September 24.
As is tradition, both men have presented their respective rules for the bout. Fans will vote and the winning rules will be used in the championship match.
The champion, Taichi, offered the following presentation:
Seconds handcuffed match
No time limit
HOUSE OF TORTURE and Just 5 Guys members will be handcuffed to one another:
EVIL to SANADA, DOUKI to Yujiro Takahashi, TAKA Michinoku to Dick Togo
If either participant breaks free of their handcuffs, the match will be deemed a no contest.
SHO gave the following rules:
10 minute guaranteed decision*†‡ match
*If the time limit elapses, SHO is declared the winner
†Taichi is banned from using the Black Mephisto
‡SHO retains the right to add other rules on account of the weight difference between he and Taichi, or as circumstances demand.
Fans voting is open on September 14.
Fightful will update fans on which stipulation wins when voting closes.
