SHO Gives List Of Rules For KOPW Title Match Against Taichi
SHO gives his list of matches.
Breaking from tradition, SHO has submitted a list of match proposals for his November 17 King of Pro Wrestling title match against Taichi. Both wrestlers typically give their match stipulation and then fans vote.
For this match, SHO said that Taichi doesn’t deserve to pick a match, so he has submitted a list of stipulations given to him by HOUSE OF TORTURE.
Here is the list of stipulations, and who proposed them:
- EVIL – a Lumberjack Strap Match. In this ruleset, the Lumberjacks will each hold straps to attack anybody that falls to the outside.
- Dick Togo – two on one Handicap Match.
- Yujiro Takahashi – Yujiro is the ‘special weapons officer’ for the match, giving weapons to the competitors.
- Yoshinobu Kanemaru – Kanemaru is the special guest referee
SHO added the stipulation that regardless of the rules selected, the loser would never be able to wrestle in Yamagata again. He also stated, “any use of the Black Mephisto, Seitei Jujiho, Dangerous Backdrop, or sumo techniques is forbidden. In that case, I’ll say my finishers are banned as well.” He claimed his “secret weapon” of the Shooting Star Press was banned, as well as the Phoenix Splash, Double Moonsault Press, and System Sambo techniques “Russian shooto! If I can’t do that, that’s a huge handicap for me!”
Fan voting will begin on November 15.
