The Shield To Hold “Farewell Address” To Open Tonight’s WWE Raw
The Shield will say goodbye.
WWE announced that Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and Dean Ambrose — collectively known as The Shield — will open tonight’s WWE Raw, delivering their “farewell address” to the WWE Universe. The Shield were victorious over Bobby Lashley, Baron Corbin, & Drew McIntyre last night at WWE Fastlane.

The latest Shield reunion is being billed as “one last ride” as Dean Ambrose’s contract with the company is set to expire in April. WWE released a statement on Jan. 29, acknowledging Ambrose’s decision not to renew his contract. They have also mentioned Ambrose’s decision to leave in April on television since Reigns’ return to the company two weeks ago. As previously reported by Fightful, WWE is hoping Reigns can be the “Dean Whisperer.”

Fightful will have live coverage of WWE Raw tonight beginning at 8 p.m. ET.
