Shelton Benjamin In Talks With WWE

WWE could very well have a familiar face on his way back to the company soon.

Pro Wrestling Sheet's Ryan Satin reports that WWE and Shelton Benjamin have resumed talks after a potential deal went awry in 2016.

Benjamin was slated to return to WWE last Summer, but a physical revealed a shoulder injury that required surgery. The former Intercontinental, United States and Tag Team Champion had never signed a contract, and remains a free agent.

Shelton was cleared in March, and would see his first WWE action in over seven years.
