Shelton Benjamin Announces That An Injury Has Sidelined Him For Only The Second Time In His Career
Shelton Benjamin is out of action with an injury.
On May 14, the WWE Raw Superstar announced that for only the second time in his career, an injury has put him on the shelf. Though he doesn’t state the nature of the injury or how long he will be gone, Benjamin notes that he will be back soon and will be putting in the work to come back better than he was before this setback.
For only the second time In my career An injury has put me on the shelf. I’ll be back soon. In the meantime I will be putting in the work to come back better than I was before my little setback. See you guys soon!

Shelton last competed on the April 25 episode of WWE Main Event where he and Cedric Alexander were defeated by The Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins). He last appeared on Raw on March 14 in a tag team match against Rey and Dominik Mysterio.
