Shawn Michaels Invites Joel Embiid To NXT, Promises Not To Fine Him
Another invitation for Joel Embiid.
On Tuesday, the NBA fined Philadelphia 76ers superstar and reigning NBA MVP Joel Embiid $35,000 for crotch chopping against the Portland Trail Blazers.
Triple H sent an invite to Embiid, saying he could join the crew at WrestleMania 40 in Philadelphia.
Piggy backing off the invitation, Shawn Michaels invited Embiid to come to NXT, saying he wouldn’t fine him for any “suck it” taunt.

Embiid has used the crotch chop taunt frequently throughout his NBA career. He was previously fined $25,000 for using the taunt during the 2022-23 season.
Embiid was unsure if he would be able to attend WrestleMania 40, which takes place during the NBA season.
The Sixers have a game in Orlando on Wednesday, December 27.
