Seth Rollins: When Kenny Omega Is Done In The Minor Leagues, He Can Face Me At WrestleMania
Seth Rollins gets his troll on.
The war of words between AEW and WWE roster members has died down recently, but Seth Rollins is here to reignite things. Speaking at the Fandemic Tour in Houston, Rollins was asked about a potential match with Kenny Omega.
Rollins replied, “When Kenny is done playing in the minor leagues over there, Kenny can come work in the absolute top professional wrestling company in the world in front of the most people, make the most money, and have the biggest matches, which is with me at WrestleMania.”
Prior to AEW and NXT beginning the Wednesday Night War, Omega cut a promo of sorts on NXT saying the brand was filled with “developmental talent” and that NXT wrestlers would be the opening match to his main event. Rollins has been very vocal on social media in his defense of WWE, even getting to a war of words with NJPW star and current IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion Will Ospreay on Twitter.
This isn’t the first time Rollins has teased a match with Omega. In January, Rollins named Omega as the guy he would like to have a match against from anyone outside of WWE, saying he wanted to “test himself against the absolute best.”
Omega will be taking on Rollins’ former Shield brother at AEW Full Gear when he faces Jon Moxley. Meanwhile, Rollins has a date with “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt at WWE Crown Jewel.
