Seth Rollins Talks Breaking John Cena’s Nose
AJ Styles loved talking about he #BeatUpJohnCena so much, that other wrestlers, namely Seth Rollins, also talked about prior experiences beating up John Cena.
Seth Rollins was recently a guest on the Morning Show with Fricke and Douglas on 92.3/CBS Atlanta, and commented on breaking John Cena’s nose in their United States Championship match on RAW back in July 2015.
“I broke John’s nose, so maybe he doesn’t want to get in the ring with me,” Rollins said. “I kneed him right in the face probably about a year ago. We were going into SummerSlam last year, maybe two or three weeks out, and I just crushed his nose. He was just disfigured and dismembered and I shocked he made it to SummerSlam as healthy as he did.”
The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion said that he didn’t really understood how the incident even happened, given that Cena and Rollins have a lot of experience wrestling each other.
“I apologized profusely and John and I wrestled a million times and every once in a while, you get a clunker in there,” Rollins said. “But this one, for some reason, I just made real contact with the center of his face and rearranged him pretty badly.”
