Seth Rollins confirms that Ric Flair apologized to Becky Lynch.
Flair previously took issue with Lynch calling herself “The Man”, as that had been his nickname for a long time. He had sold his trademark on “The Man” to WWE, but he still took shots at Lynch and claimed that he would always be “The Man.” On a recent episode of his To Be The Man podcast, Flair stated that he apologized to Lynch when he was at the January 31 taping of WWE Raw, which marked the show’s 30-year anniversary.
During an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, McAfee called Rollins “the man”, and Rollins playfully pointed out that the moniker belongs to Lynch. Flair came up in the conversation, as he was known as “The Man” for years. Rollins commented on the “beef” between Flair and Lynch and confirmed that it had been squashed, as the WWE Hall of Famer apologized to the two of them at WWE Raw.
“Officially squashed. I’ll put it out there right now. Beef squashed between Ric Flair and Becky Lynch. To be fair, the beef was never on my wife’s side. She never had beef with Ric. Ric had beef with her, and he was man enough to come up and apologize to myself and to her. I thought that was awesome because I love Ric and I want to have a ton of respect for him, and the fact that he was able to put his ego aside, bygones be bygones, we had a good moment at Raw XXX. He is ‘The Nature Boy’, one of the greatest of all time, on the Mount Rushmore of any wrestling list of all time. So awesome for that,” Rollins said.
In the same interview, Seth Rollins shared his thoughts on Logan Paul. More information is available here.
Flair recently stated that Charlotte would be as big as Serena Williams if she broke the world title record. Check out his comments here.
