Punk addressed Rollins’ comments on Tuesday’s WWE Backstage, saying “This isn’t the show where you shoot your angles” and telling Rollins to delete his Twitter, saying, “You’re not doing yourself any favors.” Punk also took one final shot at Rollins to close the show. While cutting a promo on Tom Arnold, Punk ended by saying, “Go search for relevancy somewhere else, Seth. I mean, Tom.”
Instead of deleting Twitter, Rollins was quick to tweet a response.
HELL of a “response.” –. Coward. https://t.co/kJ9vKm3zhI

Punk stated on WWE Backstage that he is not actively seeking an in-ring return, but wouldn’t outright shoot down the idea of a potential return. He did clarify that a bridge between him and WWE would have to be built before a return could happen and that he hasn’t talked to anyone in WWE.
