Here is your post-Monday Night Raw fight size update for September 18, 2023.

– WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins said he was losing his mind, as his feud with Shinsuke Nakamura is getting to him. He stated that the ball was in Nakamura’s court, as he told Shinsuke to name the time, place, and stipulation for their rematch.

– Cody Rhodes faced Dominik Mysterio.  Finn Balor interfered, but Cody won the bout. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn made the save when The Judgment Day confronted Rhodes after the match.

– Before their match, Cody Rhodes came to the ring, but he was interrupted by Dominik Mysterio. Mysterio stated that The Judgment Day would be even more dominant .Dominik stated that Nia Jax injured Rhea Ripley, but the WWE Women’s World Champion would be back soon. Cody said Dominik is more into Rhea than she is into him, and he suggested that “Mami” has eyes for Jey Uso.

– Kofi Kingston scored a hard-fought win over Ivar. Kingston and Xavier Woods had been set to face rik and Ivar, but Adam Pearce announced that Erik was unable to compete.

– Dragon Lee appeared in the crowd, and it was announced that he will challenge Dominik Mysterio for the NXT North American Championship on September 25.

– Ricochet was scheduled to face Shinsuke Nakamura. WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins came out and tried to take the fight to Nakamura, but security separated them..  

– The match between Ricochet and Nakamura went on as scheduled. They battled back and forth. Nakamura went to hit Ricochet with a chair, but he avoided it. Ricochet hit Nakamura with a chair to force the disqualification. Nakamura attacked Ricochet after the bell and hit Ricochet’s leg with a chair. 

– Rollins made the save. They brawled, and Rollins got slammed back-first onto a chair The fight continued, and Nakamura slammed Rollins spine-first onto the broadcast table.

– WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Chelsea Green and Piper Niven were interviewed backstage. Green temporarily thought Niven was from Florida.

– WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Chelsea Green and Piper Niven faced Zoey Stark and Shayna Baszler. Nia Jax interfered and attacked everyone involved. Jax said the division is on notice. 

– WWE announced that Rhea Ripley was sidelined with bruised ribs, while Raquel Rodriguez suffered whiplash during Nia Jax’s attack.

– Kevin Owens called Cody Rhodes back into the ring and questioned why he brought Jey Uso into the locker room. Cody defended himself, noting that the fans liked Jey, and he wanted to give him a second chance. Sami Zayn vouched for Jey Uso and noted that he deserved a second chance. Owens said he couldn’t trust Jey Uso, but he trusted the two of them.

– Jey Uso turned on The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, Damian Priest, and Dominik Mysterio) and lost to Drew McIntyre. Cody Rhodes made the save after the bell.

– NXT Women’s Champion Becky Lynch commented on her title win. She made it clear that she wanted to defend the title. She issued an open challenge, and Natalya accepted. Lynch then retained the NXT Women’s Championship against Natalya. 

– Tommaso Ciampa faced Giovanni Vinci and made him tap out. WWE Intercontinental Champion Gunther looked on backstage. 

– A video package highlighted The Rock’s return.

– Big E spread some positivity by noting that he was happy to see Kofi Kingston deliver incredible performances this deep into his career.

– Cody Rhodes praised the crowd.

– Ricochet expressed his frustration in a Raw Exclusive.

– Nia Jax delivered a brief message on Raw Talk.

– Seth Rollins was helped to the back after Shinsuke Nakamura’s attack.

– In a Raw Exclusive, Tommaso Ciampa made it clear that he intends to take the WWE Intercontinental Championship from Gunther.
