The current NXT Champion had a front row seat on Monday’s episode of Raw during a Seth Rollins promo, where the World Heavyweight Champion revealed he wasn’t 100% headed into his title defense against Finn Balor at Money In The Bank.
As Rollins was closing out his promo, Finn Balor jumped him from behind. When the brawl spilled to the outside, Hayes prevented Balor from attacking Rollins with a chair.

Moments later, it was revealed that Hayes and Balor are set to face off in singles action later in the show. This will be Hayes’ debut match on the main roster.
Later in the show, Hayes and Balor battled it out in a competitive match, and the NXT Champion got plenty of offense in.

Despite a valiant effort from Hayes, Balor scored the victory with the Coup de Grace and gained more momentum ahead of WWE Money in the Bank.
