Session Moth Martina discusses the tenth anniversary of Over The Top Wrestling.
Since OTT’s debut in 2014, Session Moth Martina has been an integral part in the growth of the promotion, featuring in some of the biggest matches of the companies history. Martina has also served as the women’s face of the promotion and has held the OTT Women’s World Championship on multiple occasions.
While speaking in a new video posted to OTT’s social media, Martina reflected on ten years of OTT and some of her favorite moments in the promotion.
“In this day and age without OTT, there wouldn’t be Irish wrestling these days. From someone that was around Irish wrestling before the birth of OTT, and I see the scene and how much it’s grown from now. We’ve had how many people go on to make it in WWE from the stage of OTT. The fact that it’s still going 10 years later says it all. That we’re still selling out National Stadiums after 10 years says that we’re doing something right. Without OTT, there would never have been a Session Moth Martina. Without OTT, I never ever would have traveled the world. I got to see Japan. I got to wrestle on TV. I’ve got to travel and see places I’ve only dreamed of. Some of the funnest years of my life. Some of my greatest moments have been wrestling Miko Satomura in the National Stadium, winning the OTT Women’s Championship in the National Stadium. We’ve had incredible moments such as Finn Balor showing up and the six-man, five-man match is one of the most legendary. There’s so many.”
