Sean Ross Stats For The Wrestling Week Ending 12/27/19

– Though WWE Raw was taped last week, the 24/7 skits aired with a date listed as “this past weekend.” Therefore, R-Truth failed to become the first person to hold the WWE 24/7 Championship for three weeks in a row.

– Akira Tozawa won the WWE 24/7 Championship for the first time this week. He joins Cedric Alexander as the only people to hold the WWE Cruiserweight Championship and the 24/7 title.

– Akira Tozawa is the first ever Japanese wrestler to hold the WWE 24/7 Title.

– This week was Mojo Rawley’s first Raw match since May 2019. He only had two one-on-one matches on WWE Raw all year long.

Kevin Owens‘ match with Mojo Rawley was their first against one another in their careers.

Seth Rollins received his first televised United States Championship match since 2015. All five United States title matches he was involved in before this week’s show involved John Cena.

Chelsea Green has been featured on cable TV programming for Raw, NXT, Lucha Underground, IMPACT and Tough Enough. Her last cable televised match was over a year ago against Pentagon on Lucha Underground.

– The Viking Raiders and The OC have had 11 matches against each other since June. It’s ten in the last four months.

– Randy Orton, Braun Strowman and Cedric Alexander have all helped Viking Raiders “even the odds” against The OC in six-man tags.

– In the state of New York, R-Truth has won the 24/7 Title in a parking lot (Albany), a hotel room (Uniondale), in a ring (MSG, NYC), and on the streets of New York City.

– Sami Zayn was in his first televised match since August on this week’s episode of WWE Smackdown. 

– Braun Strowman wrestled on WWE TV for the first time since Crown Jewel on Friday.
