Scott Steiner Admits Delay In WWE Hall Of Fame Induction Was ‘Self-Induced’

Scott Steiner talks WWE Hall of Fame induction.

The Steiner Brothers (Scott Steiner & Rick Steiner) were officially inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2022. The brothers are one of the most decorated tag teams in wrestling history and considered by man fans to be one of the best tag teams of all time.

Speaking to John Poz on Two Man Power Trip, Scott was asked about being inducted.

“It was great. I got inducted in the Dan Gable Hall of Fame in Iowa when I got a call from WWE. The fact that Bronson [Bron Breakker] was the guy to introduce us made it all that more special. It was a good night,” he said.

When asked if he was surprised to get the call and that it was many years in the making, Steiner replied, “Yeah, that was self-induced. After I went to WWE when they bought WCW, I went up there hurt and wasn’t as mobile. I was pissed off, and it took a while for me to get over that. It’s never good to hang onto that stuff. Since Bronson was there, It made the decision that much more easier.”

Scott returned to WWE in 2022 after the company had purchased WCW and fell down the card after an initial program with Triple H.

The Steiners are two-time WWE Tag Team Champions, seven-time WCW Tag Team Champions, and two-time IWGP Tag Team Champions.
