Finn Balor To Defend NXT Championship On 1/6, Says He’s Ready For Karrion Kross

Karrion Kross’ return continues to be teased.
Opening tonight’s episode of NXT, current NXT Champion Finn Balor was set to cut a promo before he got interrupted by a number of NXT stars such as Damian Priest, Kyle O’Reilly and Pete Dunne. In the end, Scarlett, on Kross’ behalf, appeared to give Balor a message. Balor walked out of the stage, saying that he’s ready for when Kross returns from injury.
Balor will defend the NXT Championship at New Year’s Evil on January 6.

Kross suffered a shoulder injury during a match against Keith Lee for the NXT Championship at NXT TakeOver: XXX, which Kross won. Both Kross and WWE confirmed the injury after the event, and Kross vacated the title as a result of the injury. Triple H recently commented on Kross’ eventual return at this link.
