Savio Vega Claims WWE Has Contacted Carlito To Return; Believes Colons Finish With WWE Soon
Savio Vega talks Carlito and Colons.
In a recent interview with Hannibal TV, former WWE star Savio Vega dropped some news about his fellow countrymen in relation to WWE.
“[WWE] tried to get Carlito back. I talked to him last week. I said, ‘Brother, go there, get a contract, get whatever money because you’re not gonna make that kind of money in the streets.’ If I had the opportunity, I would do it. [Epico] and Primo, I believe they finish [with WWE]. They probably don’t say if it’s this year coming up because they’re working Puerto Rico. They don’t even use them no more,” he said.
The Colons have not been used by WWE since working a SmackDown dark match on Feb. 26 against Heavy Machinery. They have not appeared on television since taking part in the Survivor Series 2018 20-Man Elimination Tag Team bout.
It is unknown when the Colons contracts with WWE expire.
Savio continued, believing WWE needs to keep bringing back older stars to television, saying, “I believe WWE, with AEW there, should do some old-timer stuff. That’s what the people love. Every time they bring Stone Cold or The Rock, [the ratings] go up. I don’t know if you want to use them all the time because they cost too much money. You have a bunch of people out there that would like to make some money.”
Savio went on to say that he has not had any contact with WWE regarding a potential return. Vega recently competed on the Oct. 19 episode of MLW Fusion, battling Jimmy Havoc and Damian 666 in a No DQ triple threat match.
